  • Helmet & cage with chin strap.  Must be CSA approved.
  • Shoulder pads
  • Gloves - Lacrosse or hockey gloves are okay.
  • Athletic Support - Jock strap with plastic cup for boys, Jill strap for girls
  • Mouth guard - Boil & Bite are acceptable
  • Elbow Pads (Recommended)
  • Knee Pads (Recommended)
  • Junior Lacrosse Stick – Minimum 34”

U9

LACROSSE BALLS

  • Chilliwack Minor Lacrosse will supply all lacrosse balls for practices and game

 

GOALTENDER EQUIPMENT

  • Chilliwack Minor Lacrosse supplies goalie equipment for the U9, U11, Female and C divisions. Deposit required
  • Goalie equipment will be provided for U13, U15, U17 teams in A/B divisions. If any of the equipment is deemed unsatisfactory for personal reasons the CMLA will not be responsible for replacing it and the player will be responsible for purchasing his own. Deposit required.
  • It is recommended that goaltenders purchase their own gloves, jocks/jills and sticks. Every goalie must have his/her own helmet.
  • Designated goalies must meet with equipment manager prior to start of season to be properly sized and assigned equipment for the year
  • Designated goalies take responsibility for the care of all equipment that is the property of Chilliwack Minor Lacrosse and must submit a refundable deposit at time of sign out
  • Goaltenders going to camps or tryouts may request, in writing to the CMLA Equipment Manager or President, to borrow CMLA goalie equipment. This must be discussed at the next available executive meeting and have a majority vote.
  • A rental fee will be administered for use of goalie equipment at any non-CMLA sanctioned events. Contact the equipment manager for rental agreements and pricing.
